Frequently Asked Questions
Do you bring back-up equipment?
This is a very important question. What happens if one of those cameras malfunctions? Wedding Reels Video always carries back-up cameras, batteries, microphones, and lights.
How many hours of coverage are included in your packages?
Some companies offer less expensive packages, but these packages may offer only 6 hours of coverage. Usually, that is not enough since most weddings are at least 8 hours. All of our packages offer at least 8 hours of coverage. Our premium package includes 10 hours of coverage.
What is your editing style and do your videos include montages?
Each of our weddings is different; therefore we employ more than one style of editing to suit your needs. Our style can be considered a combination of Video Journalistic and Cinematic.
Video Journalistic: Typically described as a documentary of the event. Segments are edited as they occur to preserve continuity. This style of editing will produce a polished documentation of the day as it unfolds.
Cinematic: The term is defined as making a movie or film. It is captured and edited for the dramatic effect and mood. It is usually presented with a particular style and “wow” effect that may not be present in a “mere documentary” of the event.
Our Silver, Gold, and Platinum packages are all beautifully edited, each includes two montages; a photo/video shoot/cocktail montage, and a highlight montage recapping the entire day. Many companies charge upwards of $200 for each montage.
What kind of equipment do you bring the day of the wedding?
We always bring our cameras, back-up cameras, extra batteries, tripods, monopods, high-frequency wireless microphones, and mounted lights (if needed).
Are we given access to our raw footage?
Raw Footage can always be added to any booking and some of our packages already include all the raw footage as a basic feature.
In which formats can we obtain the final video?
Our wedding videos can be delivered in either DVD or Blu-Ray.
How long will my Wedding Video be?
Typically our videos run between 70 minutes and 100 minutes. Much of this is determined by the length of your ceremony.
